Thanks to all the folks who are calling in - no, you are not crazy! We have seen a Bald Eagle floating and flying near Millbrook Marsh Nature Center several times now. The first sighting was at Spring Creek Day (Oct 3) and we've had several sighting and calls since them. Yes, its very exciting!
The volunteer who does the bird list for MMNC, Nan, said the eagles are migrating, so its more common to see them this time of year. Some of you asked if they will be staying and nesting - we doubt it, this is just them traveling.
